After I finished my A-levels I had a major decision to make; whether I should go straight to university or look for employment and gain my qualification as I worked. I had already decided that I wanted to pursue a career in engineering and had a long family history in the trade.

After talking to Tate, my mind was made up; they agreed not only to pay for my courses but also provided me with the time off to attend them. Another critical factor that helped tip the scales was the mentoring on offer , sure at university I would have a tutor, but nothing like the one on one support & experience provided by working on real projects.
